Joyce Igo Music Ministries has been spreading the love of God, and the Word of God around the world since 1992. At first, she traveled with her pastor husband, Denver, and then when he went home to be with the Lord in 2000, she continued on her own. Today, her grandson, Steven Nichols, and his wife, Brooke, have joined the ministry. Steven is a graduate of Liberty University, and is an ordained minister. Brooke adds her sweet voice to make the group a trio.
The group are independent artists at Rushing Winds Recording Studio in Dallas, North Carolina. Joyce and Steven write all their songs-words and music. Over the years, Joyce has written nearly three hundred gospel songs.
The ministry that started in West Virginia, where Steven and Joyce are natives, has expanded to include feeding the children in the Philippines, to the jungles of Ecuador, to helping with refuges in Italy and Greece. The ministry has reached out to Northern Ireland, Peru, and Mexico, among other countries.
Joyce Igo Ministries has an international prayer ministry called, "The Children of Elijah Intercession Group". They pray for needs of people all around the world.
Joyce has written one book, which is being edited, called "Joyce Igo: Laughing My Way to Heaven". It is a book on her life "on the road".
Recently, she began work on a life long dream: writing the Christian novel.
Joyce is a popular Women's Conference Speaker, and Steven is becoming known as a Bible based preacher.
Joyce Igo Ministries is available for concerts, revivals, women's conferences, mission conferences, or regular church services. Their down home southern style will leave their audience laughing, shedding a few tears, and challenging others to know and love Jesus Christ.
